On 14 November, during Raw Materials Week 2022 in the Clustering Event the coordinator of RESPECT project, Justo Garcia, presented the main objectives and activities related to the recovery and production of raw materials for batteries from European resources.
It is essential for European projects to learn from each other and collaborate on this topic to pave the way for sustainable, digitalized, and cost-friendly solutions to battery raw material production.
The clustering activities will allow to discover other approaches and processes and therefore new insights will be developed. This network will allow providing joint input to the European Commission (e.g. on future Horizon Europe call topics, and future challenges that needed to be addressed).
Together with RESPECT several EU-funded projects were present at the event CROCODILE, RHINOCEROS, LICORNE, BATRAW, RESPECT, RELIEF, FREE4LIB, ENICON.
